Our History

Amédé Collomé, a Phenix insurance assessor, who had grasped the significance of settling a disaster indemnity out of court, set up an insurance appraiser company in Marseilles in 1888. Its areas of expertise was representing the interests of insured parties and acting as a contradictory appraiser against the opposing insurance company’s own appraiser.

Established in Paris in 1904, «Amédé Collomé et ses Fils» which later became «Cabinet Collomé Frères» , has shown the quality of its know-how in mainland France and in its overseas territories as well as abroad down five generations.
